After teaching in-person & virtual for over 10 years, I find learning to cook in your own kitchen is one of the most invaluable ingredients when it comes to creating healthy habits for life. When kids learn to cook in their home environment they become more engaged in lasting ways. From locating Dadβs spice drawer to figuring out where Mom keeps the veggies, change happens. Pride & responsibilitytake over as they confidently join the family kitchen culture. The payoff is much greater as kids enthusiastically return and repeat lessons in their familiar space with newfound interest. Acquiring professional cooking skills at home, where whole-food recipes are the main ingredient, prepares young chefs with essential knowledge for a lifetime of health & wellness.
